Yardstick's core philosophy and guiding principle is to celebrate children. One of the most fulfilling ways by which we do this is spreading joy through learning, igniting the spirit of inquiry inside them.

Yardstick attempts to provide an extended educational framework from the conventional textbook-based learning, where a child tries to understand the concepts through the explanations given in the textbooks. We believe that experience builds understanding, and so we design ways for children to experience abstract concepts first-hand.

At Yardstick, students learn by hands-on activities, with the help of our trained and experienced facilitators. Our hands-on activities are designed with a focus on core concepts that allow students to develop thinking and questioning skills. Thus, they learn to generate solutions for real-life situations.

Our programs reinforce and complement what the students read in their textbooks and what they learn through classroom discussions.
